About SCR Hospitality

SCR Hospitality is a membership led, not-for-profit organisation covering the Sheffield City Region. With circa 25 members, the Association acts for the interest of its members and is the unified voice of the hospitality industry in the region. Dedicated to supporting members with knowledge and valuable information to assist their businesses, the association works collaboratively to raise the profile of Sheffield City Region and attract business and leisure tourism. 

Providing unique and informative training opportunities, SCR Hospitality works alongside local authorities and educational institutes to offer industry specific upskilling and development for members and their teams. With a strong focus on people, SCR Hospitality have two Apprenticeship Schemes in place. Both the Commis Chef and Hospitality Team Member, Level 2 Apprenticeships provide fantastic pathways into the hospitality industry, offering students hands-on experience into how a hotel operates, a qualification and a wage. 

SCR Hospitality also run various staff events throughout the year, including a hoteliers Tenpin Bowling Tournament, a wonderful Summer BBQ for friends and family to attend and of course, the prestigious and glamorous annual SCR Hospitality Awards Ceremony – an evening which recognises and celebrates the very best our industry has to offer with an evening of splendour.

City engagement, business tourism and industry exposure are also key aspects of our in-depth strategy.

Bonner & Hindley has managed the SCR Hospitality Association (formerly known as Hospitality Sheffield) for over ten years. With circa 25 members in and around the Sheffield city region, Bonner and Hindley’s responsibilities include, managing membership, meetings, networks, HR and people agenda – but this is by no means an exhausted list.

Over more than 20 years, B&H has developed an excellent track record of delivering successful projects and campaigns for clients across the public, private and not-for-profit sector. Majoring in hospitality sectors, tourism and arts, B&H has a strong in-house team of specialists across marketing, PR, digital/social, consortium management, partnership development and event management.

Brought in to manage the association when it was very much it its infancy, Bonner and Hindley have worked alongside members to define the goals of the organisation and brought members and key city stakeholders together to work as partnership with shared objectives and aims.

Hospitality Sheffield was rebranded to SCR Hospitality… AND: We held our biggest awards yet to celebrate the launch of SCR Hospitality!


We introduced associate membership… AND: We now have four associate members working!
